One more helpful page

Hello my dear colleagues...

I have a lot ideas to write about, but for this post I decided to share with you one more page for learning English language.
It is something new, and I hope so that I am first to show you this page. It's called Esl partyland.
Finding a good online language course or program is an excellent way to open up your horizons, learn about new cultures, and be able to say you can speak different languages easily.
You can see this page here.

Here, you can teach in a lot ways. It has some quizzes and games. Also, there are some songs that are helpful for learning English.  You can learn about lot of things. For example, there are topics about relationships, food, Internet, travel, grammar, idioms, slang, vocabulary and a lot of topic and all of them are really interesting.
If you choose "Dating and relationships" you have subtopics: discussion (some questions about dating), activities and games (interactive game), quizzes (practice grammar and vocabulary skills by taking an interactive quiz), idioms and expressions (about related topic).

This is not only for students. Teachers also can get more creative ideas and materials to use in class like teaching conversation, music, listening or reading.

I love to use this page, especially when I'm bored. I hope so that you will check and like this.

Until the next writing...
Have a good time.

Movies to watch and learn

Hello everyone,

My topic for this time are movies. We all love movies, especially our generation, They are very interesting for us, and also helpful for our language skills. All professors advice us that we should watch movies in English without subtitles (or we can use subtitles in English).
I chose a few movies to help you with your Eng
lish.

1. TERMINATOR

The Terminator series is a story about a war between artificially intelligent (Al) machines and humans that is going on in the future. When the humans start to win the war, these Al machines send killer machines back to the past. Their goal is to try and kill the leader of the human resistance, John Connor and his family. A thrilling scinece fiction film that's truly one of a kind in this genre.

2. PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN

Pirates of the Caribbean is a movie series about pirates. Each movie follows the adventures of Jack Sparrow, captain of the Black Pearl (the name of Jack's ship), and it starts off in the first movie following. Jack's attempts to get his ship back, which was stolen from him. In the next movies, Jack goes on to find the Dead Man's Chest, which contains the heart of Captain Davy Jones, someone he owes a favour to. Finally, Jack is forced to looks for the Fountain of Youth, which is a magical fountain which promises the drinker eternal youth.

3. HARRY POTTER

If you like magic, Harry Potter will take you through the mysteries of Hogwarts and the wizarding world. It is a seven part book (and eight part movie) series about the battle between the good and bad wizards. The story is centered around the main characters Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort.

Facebook pages to learn English

Hello again,

In my last post I was writing about movies. For this post, I will write about some Facebook pages. We all use Facebook  for a lot, and every day we can see posts by those pages and they can be useful for us. With all those posts we have a picture illustrating it so it is more interesting to us.

The first one is American English at State.
https://www.facebook.com/AmericanEnglishatState?fref=ts

You can see this Facebook page if you click here.

Second Facebook page is Grammarly.

You can go on this page here.

American English is a resource center for teaching and learning about American English language and culture at the U.S Department of State. This can help to beginers, but also we can find a lot of interesting things that we didn't know.

Grammarly is also great page for us. It also uses pictures, but also it always shares some links that we can read and improve our skills. For example, their last post is A Daily Dose of Poetry: Day 20.
And always it has some interesting topics to write about.

Both pages are good. beside its posts or links, I also read comments in its posts, and you can learn a lot from them because people is always ask something and they explain to them.

Learn American English online

Hello there!

For this week I would like to share a webpage that has helped me out a lot. This website is free for anyone who wants to study English. There are seven levels of instruction: blue, red,  yellow,  green,  purple orange,  and violet. LearnAmericanEnglishOnline.com has been providing videos, lessons, exercises, quizzes, and advice since 2003.

I use all of the seven levels when I need to, but the most helpful have been the green, purple, orange and violet because they are focused on intermediate and advanced students of English.
It contains the written information as well as videos that go with it. Both are very helpful and I prefer American over British English, so that's another plus.

Here's the link of the webpage http://www.learnamericanenglishonline.com/.
